Watered-down Definitions for Wednesday: Dogma

On this week’s Watered-down Definition for Wednesday, I get rid of my tendency to associate dog with the word, dogma.

Word: Dogma

Watered-down Definition: Dogma is a cluster of beliefs or viewpoints that are accepted by a group.

Origin(s): Dogma comes from the Latin, dogmat-; the word is also related to the Greek dokein (“to seem”).

Well, it seems that no doggies are hiding in dogma. Could they be featured next week? Stay posted to find out.
